The Advancement Director will oversee all aspects of philanthropic development, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, corporate partnerships, grants stewardship, fundraising events, communications, and marketing. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled relationship builder, and compelling communicator with a proven track record of fundraising success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy to support long-term organizational sustainability.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with individual, corporate, foundation, and community donors.
- Lead major gift, annual giving, planned giving, and special event fundraising efforts.
- Expand awareness of LPLC’s mission through marketing, communications, media relations, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with leadership and the Board Advancement Committee to achieve fundraising and organizational goals.
- Oversee donor database management, gift processing, branding, website updates, and social media communications.
- Serve as a public ambassador and spokesperson for the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum three years of fundraising, development, public relations, or related experience.
- Demonstrated success securing support from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government sources.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
- Experience with donor management software (DonorPerfect preferred) and fundraising best practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $80,000–$85,000
